baumann-geschaeft-190.gif Baumann Modellspielwaren was founded in 1981 by Jürgen Baumann. A few years after its establishment, the company moved into newly-built premises with 150 square metres of exhibition space and an outdoor 7 ¼ gauge park on 1000 square metre ground.

The original product programme was extended constantly over the years and today the product range includes well-known brands such as Lehmann (LGB), POLA and Preiser. Additionally, Baumann is the exclusive partner for Kaden and DUHA in Germany. The company also produces its own range of accessories, including the well known MOLIT houses (Scale 1:22.5) which are also suitable for outdoor railway parks.

baumann-feldbahn-190.gif The latest addition to the Baumann product range is the Baumann Feldbahn programme in a scale of 1:3. Those locomotives are suitable for passenger transportation and are built in the style of the GMEINDER locomotives. The programme consists of a wide range of locomotives, cars and accessories. The Feldbahn programme is approved by the German TÜV and is an international bestseller - visitor parks and private clients in Germany, Finland, Switzerland, Norway, USA and the Railway Museum in Budapest (Hungary) already use the product.

Today, Baumann Modellspielwaren is an international company with 5 employees. Mister Baumann and his team attend many international and national fairs and exhibitions and his company is known world-wide.

The majority of products are available both in a traditional print catalogue as well as online in the Baumann online shop.

The company's headquarters at Flurstrasse 19 in 91413 Neustadt Aisch (district Schauerheim) is a popular destination for railway enthusiasts from all over the world. The well-designed indoor exhibition allows customers to experience the desired locomotive "in action" and if the weather allows it, fans of the Feldbahn can take a ride in the outdoor railway park.
